Wolf Pack re-assign 20

HARTFORD, September 29, 2005: The Hartford Wolf Pack has re-assigned 20 players, cutting their roster to 26 hopefuls. Many of the players will report to the Charlotte Checkers, the ECHL affiliate of the Wolf Pack.

Players released today are: Bernd Bruckler, Dan Cavanaugh, Brendon Clark, Jerramie Domish, Rob Flynn, Robert Gherson, Nathan Gillies, Daniel Girardi, Lee Jacobson, Jay Latulippe, Michael Mole, Jake Ortmeyer, Johnathan Paiement, Rory Rawlyk, Bryan Rodney, Matt Smith, Juris Stals, Dmitri Tarasov, Brian Teixeira and Ryan Watson.

With the addition of five players from the New York Rangers yesterday, the Wolf Pack roster is as follows:

Goal: Chris Holt, Al Montoya

Defense: Ivan Baranka, Anders Eriksson, Martin Grenier, Bryce Lampman, Dave Liffiton, Jake Taylor, Nikos Tselios

Forwards: Jozef Balej, Ryan Callahan, Brandon Cullen, Nigel Dawes, Lee Falardeau, Colby Genoway, Alexandre Giroux, Bruce Graham, Dwight Helminen, Hugh Jessiman, Rick Kozak, Steve MacIntyre, Garth Murray, Jakub Petruzalek, Daniel Sparre, Craig Weller, Peter Worrell

The Wolf Pack play their next game on Saturday at Champions Skating Center in Cromwell. Game time is 6:00 p.m. Admission is $5.00 at the door in support of local minor hockey. The team then travels to Springfield on Sunday to face the Falcons at 4:00 p.m., then finish the pre-season with a re-match with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers on Monday at 7:30 p.m. at The Rinks in Shelton, CT.

The AHL's Hartford Wolf Pack hockey club is part of Madison Square Garden LP. Cablevision Systems Corporation owns a controlling interest in MSG LP, which also includes the New York Rangers (NHL), New York Knicks (NBA), the New York Liberty (WNBA), the MSG Network, Fox Sports Net and the Madison Square Garden arena complex.
