
Penguins trim training camp roster

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins News Release
WILKES-BARRE, PA - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins have released forward Konrad McKay and defensemen Ken Scuderi and Luis Tremblay, it was announced today by team CEO Jeff Barrett.
Additionally, forwards Bo Cheesman, Sean Collins, James Laux and Cliff Loya have been assigned to the Wheeling Nailers of the ECHL.
The moves leave the Penguins with 28 players currently in training camp: 16 forwards, nine defenseman and three goaltenders (see attached roster).
The Penguins will travel to Binghamton, NY to take on the Senators this Friday night at 7:05pm, before returning home to conclude their preseason schedule this Saturday night against Binghamton at 7:05.
The Penguins open their seventh season in the American Hockey League on October 5, when they host the Bridgeport Sound Tigers at 7:05pm. Season tickets and partial ticket plan packages are on sale now. Contact the Penguins at (570) 208-7367 for more information.
