HARTFORD, February 18, 2005: After raising more than $9,000 for the Red Cross Tsunami Relief effort last week, the Hartford Wolf Pack put their efforts into a charity a bit closer to home this coming Sunday during the club's game against Norfolk.

The Wolf Pack will hold their annual "Un-casino Night" during the game with a silent auction and raffle with proceeds to benefit the Children's Cancer Fund at the Connecticut Children's Medical Center. Last year the team donated $12,000 to the cause.

Auction items include an autographed AHL All-Star jersey, a Gary Dineen hockey school gift certificate, and baskets made up by Wolf Pack players Jeff Hamilton and Jozef Balej. A numbered serigraph, valued at $1,000 called "Retiring the Millennium" featuring Wayne Gretzky, John Elway and Michael Jordan is also up for bid. Raffle items include autographed Wolf Pack player photos and an autographed portrait of UConn women's basketball star Nykesha Sales.

Game time on Sunday is 4:05 p.m. Tickets start as low as $8.00 for youth 16 and under in advance and can be purchased at the Hartford Civic Center Box Office, all Ticketmaster locations, including Filene's at the Buckland Hills Mall and at the Westfarms Mall.
