Cleveland, OH, November 16, 2008: P.A. Parenteau struck for the Hartford Wolf Pack's first four-point game of the season, with two goals and two assists, Sunday afternoon, as the Wolf Pack won its first road game of the season, a 5-3 verdict over the Lake Erie Monsters.

Bobby Sanguinetti added a goal and an assist in the win, and Patrick Rissmiller and Artem Anisimov registered two assists apiece.

The Lake Erie power play struck for the first goal of the game at 9:28 of the first frame, in which the Monsters outshot the Wolf Pack by a 15-9 margin. Defenseman Ray Macias, sneaking down the weak side, jammed a Chris Mueller pass behind Wolf Pack goalie Miika Wiikman from the right-wing side of the crease. Peder Skinner, playing just his second AHL game, made it a 2-0 lead for the Monsters at 14:15. Skinner drove home a rebound of a shot by Chris Stewart, for his first AHL point.

Greg Moore cut the lead in half with only 30 seconds remaining in the opening period. Jumping on the rebound of a shot by Sanguinetti, Moore shoved the puck underneath Lake Erie backstop Jason Bacashihua. On a second effort, Moore then slid the puck across the goal line, as he was being knocked to the ice by a Lake Erie defender. Moore now has goals in three straight games and four of his last five, after failing to score in any of the season's first nine games.

That momentum carried over into the second session, as Brodie Dupont would be able to bring the Wolf Pack into a tie at 7:31 of the middle frame. Anisimov found Dupont with a pass on right wing, and Dupont netted his third goal of the season with a low shot to Bacashihua's stick side.

Kyle Cumiskey gave the Monsters a short-lived 3-2 lead at 11:50 with his first goal of the year, on a shot from the top of the circles. The Wolf Pack, though, would get the next two. Parenteau would tie it again 3:04 later, at 14:54, making a move to the forehand after a pass deflected to him in front of the goal off of a Lake Erie player. Sanguinetti then bagged eventual game-winner, on a Wolf Pack power play, with only 22.4 seconds showing on the second-period clock. Sanguinetti hammered a puck that was on edge at the net, and it knuckled past Bacashihua.

The Wolf Pack finished the second frame with a 13-3 edge in shots.

Parenteau garnered his fourth point, and second goal, of the day, at 11:51 of the third. The power-play tally came off of a deft pass from Rissmiller, who has three assists in two games since joinng the Wolf Pack on a conditioning assignment from the New York Rangers.

Parenteau extended his Wolf Pack season-high point-scoring streak to six straight games, in which he has five goals and six assists for 11 points. Since being held without a point in the season's first four games, Parenteau has at least a point in nine out of 10 games, with eight goals and eight assists for 16 points.

The Wolf Pack finished the game with a 37-26 shots advantage, including a combined 28-11 in the last two periods. Wiikman made 23 saves in the Hartford net, and Bacashihua totaled 32 stops for the Monsters.

With the victory, Hartford improved its record back above .500, to 7-6-0-1 for 15 points, and the Wolf Pack is now 1-3-0-1 in five road games.

The Wolf Pack returns home Wednesday night, to host Coach Kevin Dineen and the Portland Pirates at 7:00.
