The Rockford IceHogs defeated the Peoria Rivermen 4-1 at the MetroCentre in Rockford, IL tonight. Chris Conner scored the Rivermen's only goal. He has now scored in five straight games and is tied for the team lead in goals with nine.

NOTE: Steve Regier scored twice for the St. Louis Blues in his first NHL action this season after being recalled by St. Louis following Saturday's game. They were the only two goals scored by the Blues in a 3-2 shootout loss to Montreal. It was Regier's first two NHL goals.
