
WMUR-TV To Broadcast Home Opener

MANCHESTER, NH - The Manchester Monarchs, the primary affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, have announced the team's home opener versus the Lowell Devils on Saturday, October 18, 2008 will be broadcast live on WMUR-TV for the seventh straight season.
WMUR Sports Director Jamie Staton will be calling the game and Casey Kesselring, Head Coach of the Pinkerton Academy Astros, will be the color analyst for the live broadcast from the Verizon Wireless Arena. The broadcast will begin at 7:30 p.m.
The Monarchs travel to the Tsongas Arena on Friday, October 17 for a 7 p.m. contest with the Lowell Devils before they return to the Verizon Wireless Arena for the Home Opener against the Devils on Saturday, October 18 at 7:30 p.m. The first 5,000 fans to the Home Opener will receive a 2008-09 magnetic schedule and the chance to win a full-size or mini-refrigerator.
