Fort Wayne TinCaps News Release

Fort Wayne, IN - The rain, snow and cold weather that have affected nearly all Midwest League teams today finally caught up to the Fort Wayne Wizards and Great Lakes Loons.

Club officials with the Wizards announced that tonight's 6:00 p.m. game between Fort Wayne and the Loons (Los Angeles Dodgers affiliate) has been postponed because of a steady rain in the area since early this morning.

The two teams will make-up today's game with a doubleheader starting at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. Both games will be seven innings in length with a 30-minute break in between games. After Thursday's scheduled doubleheader, the Wizards and Great Lakes do not meet again until a four-game series in Midland, Michigan from June 7-June 10.

Schools scheduled to attend as part of the Idearc Media and Wizards Reading Club program are encouraged to arrive at 10:00 a.m. tomorrow to participate in pre-game activities, including the pre-game parade around the field of Memorial Stadium.

Fans with tickets to Wednesday's game can exchange them for any remaining 2007 regular season game on the Wizards schedule, based on availability.
