
Chiefs and Swing Rained Out Wednesday Morning

PEORIA, IL- The Peoria Chiefs and the Swing of the Quad Cities game scheduled for Wednesday morning at 11:00 AM has been postponed due to rain and cold weather in the Davenport, IA area last night and this morning.
The game will be made up tomorrow, Thursday April 12 as part of a traditional doubleheader at John O'Donnell Stadium. Game one will begin at 5:00 PM and game two will follow thirty minutes prior to the conclusion of game one. Both games will be seven inning contests. The starting pitchers for both teams are still TBA. The Chiefs do not return to the Quad Cities this half, so if the games cannot be played tomorrow they will have to made up this weekend in Peoria.
The Peoria Chiefs return home on Friday, April 13 for Ryne Sandberg's home debut as the Chiefs Manager. Gates open at 5:30 PM and first pitch against Burlington is scheduled for 6:30 PM.
