Wizards Acquire Guard Anthony Goods

Bismarck, N.D. (Dec. 21, 2010) - The Dakota Wizards announced today that they have acquired guard Anthony Goods (6-3 200, Stanford) via the Available Player Pool. Goods will practice with the team this week and will be in uniform this weekend as the Wizards travel to Sioux Falls to battle the Skyforce on Christmas Day.
Goods, 23, was drafted in this year's NBA Development League Draft in the fourth round by the Fort Wayne Mad Ants where he appeared in 1 game for the Mad Ants this season. The 6-3, 200 lb. guard played in 9 games last season for the Bakersfield Jam and averaged 3.0 points and 2.1 rebounds per game for the Jam. As a senior at Stanford, he averaged a team-best 16.2 points and 3.3 rebounds per game and led the team with 71 three-pointers in 33 games for the Cardinals. Goods was a Pac-10 honorable mention his junior and senior year at Stanford.
To make room for Goods on the roster the Wizards waived guard Mike Gerrity. The roster currently stands at 11 players.
