
Witness Training Camp's Intensity And Meet Alouettes

Montreal, June 1, 2011-Will 2011 be the year when the Montreal Alouettes win their third consecutive Grey Cup' One thing is certain, the journey towards accomplishing such a feat starts on June 5th, when the Alouettes' 2011 training camp opens at Coulter Field at Bishop's University in Sherbrooke.
Come watch the Alouettes prepare for the 2011 season and meet the players and coaches from your championship team on Opening Day presented by CN, this Sunday, June 5th. Fans are welcome on-site as of 10:30 a.m. to experience the intensity of a live practice, the first of the season for the Alouettes. There will also be plenty of activities set-up for fans of all ages to enjoy, and following player presentations, fans will be able to meet the Alouettes' stars on the field.
The team will stay at Bishop's for the entire camp, which runs until June 20, and all of the practices will be made open to the public.
It's been an active off-season for the Alouettes, during which a number of key players, such as quarterback Anthony Calvillo, saw their contracts renewed. The team also drafted young players with promising careers and took part in various Alouettes' community programs.

The club will play two pre-season games during training camp, taking the field at home on June 16 at 7:30 p.m. when the Winnipeg Blue Bombers will be in town, and on June 22 in Hamilton, when the Tiger-Cats will be the hosts.
The 2010 Grey Cup Champions will open the 2011 season on Thursday, June 30 at 7:30 p.m., when the BC Lions come to town.
