
Wisconsin Timber Rattlers Homestand Highlights: August 10 to 15

Wisconsin Timber Rattlers News Release
GRAND CHUTE, WI - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers return to Time Warner Cable Field from a brief four game road trip Wednesday, August 10 to start a six game homestand. The Beloit Snappers are in town for three games August 10th through the 12th. The Quad Cities River Bandits, the St. Louis Cardinals Midwest League affiliate, will visit August 13th through the 15th.
The homestand kicks off with a bonus Bang for Your Buck Night on Wednesday and continues with many other promotions to follow during the homestand:
- WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 10 at 7:05pm; BONUS BANG FOR YOUR BUCK NIGHT, AMERICAN TV Win-It Wednesday, Rasmussen College Lunch Box Giveaway; Clothing Drive:
This is one of the Bonus Bang for Your Buck Nights added to the Timber Rattlers schedule in August with Pepsi products, Cher-Make hot dogs, and Miller Beer available for $1. American TV Win-It Wednesday means that every fan aged 16 and older will receive a scratch-off ticket. Every ticket is a winner with prizes from the Timber Rattlers and American TV of Appleton. The first 1,000 fans to attend the game will receive a metal lunch box from Rasmussen College. Fans are encouraged to bring donations for a clothing drive to support the Community Clothes Closet.
- THURSDAY, AUGUST 11 at 7:05pm; Slugger's Sports Bar Thirsty Thursday presented by 101.1, WIXX, That 70's Night w/ appearance by Denny Diamond presented by West Business Services, and TJ Mittelstaedt Poster Giveaway:
Thirsty Thursday means that 22 ounce Pepsi products and 16 ounce Miller products are available for $2. Redeem a Thursday night game ticket at Slugger's, located inside Super Bowl on Northland Avenue, for a chance to win great prizes from Miller Lite. Break out the bell-bottoms, leisure suits, and disco moves because it's That 70's Night at the ballpark with special Guest Denny Diamond presented by West Business Services. The first 1,000 fans to Time Warner Cable Field will receive a poster of Timber Rattlers outfielder TJ Mittelstaedt. Also, Harbor House will be accepting donations of bath products and new bed linens as part of a drive to support their residents. Plus, The Great Safety Adventure Tour from Kohl's Cares will be in the parking lot to allow families to learn about safety risks inside and outside the home.
- FRIDAY, AUGUST 12 at 7:05pm; North Shore Bank Family Night w/ 95.9 KISS-FM Fireworks, & BirdZerk! appearance:
Children 12 and under eat free on a North Shore Bank Family Night. During the game, BirdZerk! is back to keep the party rolling with his between-innings antics. After the game, enjoy a fireworks display! After the fireworks, Fazoli's invites children 14 and under to participate in Kids Run the Bases.
- SATURDAY, AUGUST 13 at 6:35pm; FOX 11 Fireworks, Tyler Thornburg Player Magnet Giveaway from Lamers Bus Lines:
The first 500 fans to the game will receive a Tyler Thornburg player magnet from Lamers Bus Lines, the fourth in a series of four magnets in the 2011 series. The bus from the Community Blood Center will be in the parking lot for Step Up to the Plate and Donate to give tours and to allow fans to learn more about donating blood. Plus, the band Overdrive will be performing outside the stadium for pregame entertainment. After the game, FOX 11 presents a Saturday Night fireworks display.

Before the game, fans may play catch on the field presented by momslikeme.com. During the game, the Timber Rattlers players will be wearing jerseys and caps based on those of the 1975 Milwaukee Brewers. After the game, players will be available for a post-game autograph session. Time Warner Cable subscribers may bring in their bill and receive up to four half priced reserve seat tickets on Sunday.
- MONDAY, AUGUST 15 at 12:05pm; Qdoba Q*Monday & BONUS Baker Tilly Business Person's Special,
: Qdoba Q*Monday means fans receive a free ticket to either of the remaining Monday home games on the 2011 schedule when they purchase a lunch entrée at the Qdoba by the Fox River Mall on a Monday when the Rattlers are at home. There is a also a bonus Baker Tilly Business Person's Special on Monday with a box seat ticket, a beverage, and a brat or hot dog for $11.50 and a business card. Senior citizens may take advantage of this deal, too. Plus, The Great Safety Adventure Tour from Kohl's Cares returns to the ballpark.
