Winterhawks Set Round One Playoff Schedule

The Portland Winterhawks are the No.3 seed in the U.S. Division heading in to the opening round of the Western Hockey League playoffs. The Hawks are preparing for their tenth consecutive trip to the postseason and it comes after another 40-win campaign.

For the second straight year, the Winterhawks will face the Spokane Chiefs in the opening round of the WHL Playoffs.

Last March the opening round series went all seven games, with the Hawks advancing after a 4-3 series win. Starting Friday, March 22, Portland will begin the quest for its sixth WHL Championship.
