PROMOTIONS/EVENTS

Single Game Playoff Tickets: Single game tickets for the 2019 WHL Playoffs will go on sale on Wednesday, March 20th at 9:00am! The 'Canes will begin the WHL Playoffs with home-ice advantage on Friday, March 22nd at the ENMAX Centre! The opponent and placement of the Hurricanes is to be determined. Call 403- 329-SEAT (7328) to secure your playoff tickets starting on March 20th .

United Way Tailgate Party Game 1: Prior to Game 1 at the ENMAX Centre, the Hurricanes will be holding a United Way Playoff Tailgate Party on the front plaza of the ENMAX Centre from 5:00pm until 7:00pm.

Browns Socialhouse will be on-hand with a BBQ with burgers, chips and water available by donation!

Playoff Packages: Hurricanes 2019 Charlton and Hill Playoff Packages are available for pick-up at the ENMAX Centre Ticket Centre. The Ticket Centre is open from Monday to Thursday from 9:00am until 5:00pm. While open from 9:00am until after game-time on Friday.

First Round vs. Calgary: Hurricanes 2019 Charlton and Hill Playoffs will face the Calgary Hitmen in the first round of the WHL Playoffs. It will be the first time since 2009 that the Hurricanes will face the Hitmen in the post-season.

Home Away From Home: While the Hurricanes are on the road, be sure to take advantage of Browns Socialhouse, your Home Away From Home all playoffs long. All 'Canes road games will be broadcast on the televisions at both the West and South side locations of Browns Socialhouse.

Friday, March 15th - 4-3 Win at Red Deer Rebels: The Hurricanes earned their seventh straight victory on Friday with a 4-3 win in Red Deer against the Rebels. Jake Leschyshyn scored a hat-trick to reach the 40- goal mark in the victory.

Saturday, March 16th - 3-2 Win at Medicine Hat Tigers: The Hurricanes ended the regular season with a 3-2 win in Medicine Hat against the Tigers on Friday to head into the WHL Playoffs on an eight-game winning streak. Nick Henry scored twice while Jake Elmer added the other goal. www.lethbridgehurricanes.com

NEWS & NOTES

This Is 40: Hurricanes forward Jake Leschyshyn reached the 40-goal mark for the first time in his career. It was the fourth straight season that a Hurricane has scored at least forty goals. In 2015-16, Tyler Wong scored 43 goals. In 2016-17, Wong scored 51 and Zak Zborosky tallied 41. While last season, Jordy Bellerive potted 46 to lead the team.

5+5: The 'Canes this season had five players reach the 70-point mark and five players reach the 30-goal mark. It was the first time since 1996-1997 that the 'Canes had five players reach both marks; that season, the Hurricanes won the WHL title

Inked: On Friday, March 16th, it was announced that Hurricanes forward Jake Elmer had signed a three- year entry-level contract with the New York Rangers. Elmer finished the regular season on an 18-game point scoring streak which was the second-longest point scoring streak in the WHL this season.
