Winterhawks Mourn the Loss of Sara Haupt

Portland Winterhawks News Release

The Portland Winterhawks would like to send our condolences to the Haupt family after learning about the loss of Sara Haupt, wife of former Winterhawks defenseman Kevin Haupt.

Kevin spent five seasons with the Winterhawks from 1994-1999 and helped the Hawks win their second Memorial Cup Championship in 1998.

Fans who would like to help the Haupt family can do so by donating to their GoFundMe page set up by fellow Winterhawks alum Joey Tetarenko and their 1998 teammates. The funds will be used to help pay for funeral expenses, educational expenses for their kids, and other items the family needs through the grieving process.
