VS SASKATOON: This will be the third meeting of the season between the Blades and Tigers. The Blades have taken both contests so far this season with the most recent being a 4-2 win in Medicine Hat. The Blades sit 4th in the East Division and 7th in the Eastern Conference with a record of 19-14-1-1. This will be Pavel Bocharov and Brendan Lee's first game against their old club since being acquired by the Tigers in December. The Blades are 6-3-0-1 in their last 10 games, while the Tigers are 2-8-0-0.

LAST GAME: The Tigers took on the Red Deer Rebels in what was the teams fourth game in five nights. The Rebels stormed out to an early 3-0 lead, but the Tigers would claw their way back to within one in the second period on markers from Teague Patton and Brendan Lee. That would be as close as the Tabbies would come, falling by a 5-2 margin. Beckett Langkow made 32 saves in relief of Garin Bjorklund.
MILESTONES: Daniel Baker will play in his 200th career WHL game on Friday night in Saskatoon. Rhett Parsons, Oren Shtrom, Oasiz Wiesblatt, Tyler MacKenzie, Pavel Bocharov and Teague Patton each recently played in their 50th career games, while Brayden Boehm, Ashton Ferster and Reid Andresen close in on the same milestone.
PLAYER TO WATCH: Andrew Basha scored his first career WHL Goal on Saturday and has points in back to back games heading into this weekends action. The 16-year-old forward from Calgary, AB shows great instincts with the puck and his confidence is seemingly growing shift to shift. Basha sits 2nd on the Tigers in rookie scoring behind Bogdans Hodass and has one goal and 5 assists in 18 games this season.
