Winston-Salem Dash News Release

WINSTON-SALEM, NC - After a successful showing last year, the Winston-Salem Warthogs will reintroduce "Drag-in-Drag", a unique fundraising promotion benefiting the Special Olympics of Forsyth County. Once again, the men of the Winston-Salem Warthogs front office, including Wally the Warthog, will put their masculine natures aside for one very special night. During the July 5 game against the Kinston Indians, four male staff members will drag the infield wearing full female regalia. And fans get to decide which staff members will perform the infield drag-in drag.

Over the next two weeks, fans can donate money to the man who they would like to see "Drag in Drag." The men who raise the most money will enjoy the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity of stepping into another (wo)man's shoes.

Fans can vote at any upcoming Warthogs game, or by calling the Warthogs front office at (336) 759-2233 to place donations. For information or to print the Donation Form, please visit:

All proceeds will benefit the Special Olympics of Forsyth County.
