Wings Stadium to Host Women's Hockey Clinic

Kalamazoo, MI- Wings Stadium, which is also home to "The Annex" and "The Cube", announces that The Cube will host a 16-week Instructional Women's Hockey Clinic starting June 2nd.

The 16-week course is geared for all skill levels; however, all participants must be able to skate on their own. The clinic will be taught by Brad Johnson (Coach of Western Michigan University Women's Mustangs Hockey Team), Michelle Mancini (Advance Level Certificate USA Hockey), and Gayle Lazoration (Manager of Women's Novocains).

The clinic will be held Monday evenings from 7-8:30 pm. Each week the clinic will feature drills for various skill levels, power skating lessons, and scrimmages. Participants for the clinic must be dressed in full hockey gear.

Cost for the clinic will be $10 per session, or $150 for the entire 16 weeks.. For further information about the clinic or to sign up call Brad Johnson at (269) 385-3945.

Stadium Management Company owns both Wings Stadium Complex and the Kalamazoo Wings hockey team. Wings Stadium Complex is comprised of three buildings; Wings Stadium seats more than 5,100 fans for K-Wings home games and more than 8,000 people for concerts and other stage events. The Annex seats 1,367 for ice events and 2,850 for non-ice events such as car, boat, and trade shows. The Cube is the newer of the three facilities, that plays host to both ice and non-ice events. All three buildings are available for rental and feature numerous catering and meeting opportunities.
