Boardwalk Bullies Shut Out Inferno in Game One of Kelly Cup

Columbia, S.C. - The Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies defeated the Columbia Inferno by a final of 1-0 to take a one-game-to-none lead in the best-of-seven Kelly Cup Finals series.

Atlantic City netminder Scott Stirling stopped all 18 Inferno shots and earned the first star of the game for the shutout and second-year Bullies forward Scott Matzka netted the game-winning goal one minute, 17 seconds into the third period to give Atlantic City the victory.

Inferno goalie Patrick Couture turned aside 30 of 31 Bullies shots in the loss.
