Wings Stadium to host Portage High School Hockey Classic

Kalamazoo, MI- Wings Stadium, which is also home to "The Annex" and "The Cube", announce that the Portage High School Hockey Classic between the Portage Northern Huskies and the Portage Central The game, which is presented by the Portage Rotary, will be a hockey extravaganza pitting two of the fiercest rivals in southwest Michigan.

Tickets for the contest are $5 for adults and $2 for children and seniors. The schools will also be honoring individuals that have hockey season passes. Any players in the KOHA program can get FREE admission to the game by wearing their KOHA jerseys.

Tickets for the game are available at each schools athletic office, at selected Rotarian businesses, and day of game at Wings Stadium. Those that attend the game will have the opportunity to win great prizes. Face-off at Wings Stadium is set for 6:30 PM.

Stadium Management Company owns both Wings Stadium Complex and the Kalamazoo Wings hockey team. Wings Stadium Complex is comprised of three main buildings. Wings Stadium seats more than 5,100 fans for K-Wings home games and more than 8,000 people for concerts and other stage events. The Annex seats 1,367 for ice events and 2,850 for non-ice events such as car, boat, and trade shows. The Cube is the newer of the facilities that plays host to both ice and non-ice events. All three buildings are available for rental and feature numerous catering and meeting opportunities.
