Aberdeen Wings News Release
Jonathan Grebosky was able to get the Wings right back to where they left off Friday night mid way through the 1st period Saturday vs. the Austin Bruins. Grebosky was fresh off the bench after the Wings were able to have sustained offensive zone pressure and was fed a perfect tape to tape pass from Krieger and beat Lehr high glove side. Assists on the goal went to Peter Krieger and Jake Horton. The Wings were able to kill off 4 minutes of penalty time against the top power play team in the NAHL. Both teams traded power play opportunities in a scoreless 2nd period. In the 3rd however the Wings were unable to hold off the Bruins as they were able to put 4 on the board to send the Wings home with a weekend split. The Wings will be back in action next Thursday in Brookings, Friday at home vs. Minot and Saturday night at home Vs. Brookings.
