Tonight the Aberdeen Wings (8-3-1) travel to take on Brookings (1-8-3) at the Larsen Ice Center. The Aberdeen Wings are coming off a 1-1 split weekend with the 1st place Austin Bruins as the Wings remain in 2nd in the Central Division.
The Aberdeen Wings enter the game with Brookings after sweeping them to open the 2013-2014 season. On September 27th the Wings traveled to Brookings coming away with a 5-3 victory. The Wings had goals from #24 Jonathan Grebosky, #4 Jake Horton, #7 Matt Brettingen, #25 Lennart Palausch, and #15 Jordan Heller. #30 Henry Dill was the winning goalie. Then on September 28th, the Wings hosted Brookings for their home opener in front of nearly 1,700 fans. The Wings would win that contest 5-1 with goals from #18 Austin Swingle, #4 Jake Horton, #11 TJ Roo, and two goals from #27 Erik Baskin. #1 Chad Catt was the winning goalie.
