Windsor Spitfires Offer Ticket Marketplace to Season Ticket Holders

(Windsor) The Windsor Spitfires today announced that the team is offering a Ticket Marketplace to Spitfire Season Ticket Holders on windsorspitfires.com in the "Tickets" tab on the home page. The Ticket Marketplace is a service where Spitfire Season Ticket Holders can post their tickets for sale to the public for games that they are unable to attend.

Persons desiring to purchase tickets that are not available through the TekSavvy.com Box Office at the WFCU Centre can visit the Ticket Marketplace for seats becoming available. Fans have the option to print the tickets at home or to pick them up at the TekSavvy.com Box Office at the WFCU Centre before the game.

Please note that only Windsor Spitfire game tickets can be sold on this marketplace. Spitfire Season Ticket Holders and fans will be required to register on windsorspitfires.com before selling or purchasing their tickets. Spitfire Season Ticket Holders will receive a credit to their account for tickets sold through the marketplace to be used for 2011-2012 season ticket renewals.

Tickets are still available for the Spitfires home game this Sunday (October 3) against the Sudbury Wolves. Game time is set for 2:05 p.m. and tickets can be purchased at the TekSavvy.com Box Office (Gate 2) of the WFCU Centre, by phone at (519) 254-5000 or online at windsorspitfires.com.
