The Edmonton Oilers have recalled forward Brad Winchester from the Hamilton Bulldogs.
Winchester, 25, has posted 40 points (26 goals, 14 assists) and 118 penalty minutes in 40 games for Hamilton this season. He leads the Bulldogs in goals and is tied for eighth in the AHL with 16 power-play goals. Winchester is on a six-game point streak with Hamilton, producing 11 points (4g-7a).
The native of Madison, Wisconsin has appeared in a total of 15 games for the Oilers this season, going scoreless while collecting nine penalty minutes.
The Bulldogs next game will take place on Friday, March 31st when the Chicago Wolves visit Copps Coliseum. Game time is 7:30 p.m. This game can be seen live on Hamilton's Cable 14.
