BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators on Wednesday released forward Brandon Schwartz from his 25-game amateur tryout agreement.
Schwartz was scoreless in his first five American Hockey League contests after being signed on March 13. The 24-year-old from St. Cloud, Minn., was second in scoring for Michigan Tech of the Western Collegiate Hockey Association with 26 points (10 goals, 16 assists) in 38 games this season.
The B-Sens return to action on Friday against Wilkes-Barre/Scranton at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena. Call (607) 722-SENS for ticket information.
