On Tuesday night, Ryan Ramsay, Gavin Morgan and Tomas Mojzis each scored two goals in Peoria's 8-2 rout of Houston, extending the Aeros' winless streak to seven games (0-5-1-1)... Toby Petersen scored the winning goal with 4:52 left in regulation and Loui Eriksson picked up three assists as Iowa beat San Antonio, 3-1.

LOOKING AHEAD: Portland can move closer to its first-ever division title with a win in Manchester tonight (7:05 ET)... It will be the sixth straight road game for the Pirates, who are 21-9-3-1 away from home this season... Dustin Penner has 33 goals and a league-leading plus-33 rating in 47 games for Portland... Tim Stapleton, who made his pro debut with the Pirates over the weekend, led Minnesota-Duluth in scoring as a senior this year... With just one regulation win in their last 18 games, the Monarchs are suddenly only six points up on fourth-place Providence in the Atlantic Division, with the Bruins having played two fewer games... Toronto and Manitoba wrap up a two-game set at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg tonight (7:30 CT), a day after the Marlies closed to within six points of the third-place Moose with a 4-3 shootout victory... Toronto's Brad Leeb had two goals to extend his scoring streak to seven games (6g, 4a) and hit the 30-goal mark for the season... J.F. Racine made 30 saves to improve to 12-3-0 in his last 15 decisions... Rick Rypien scored twice for Manitoba, which is 4-0-1-1 against the Marlies in 2005-06... Moose Jesse Schultz was held scoreless on Tuesday, but still has six goals and four assists in the season series.
