Knights Recall Pardy From Las Vegas

Omaha, NE - The Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights announced today that they have recalled defenseman Adam Pardy from the Las Vegas Wranglers, their affiliate in the ECHL. Pardy will join the Knights in time for their games against the Houston Aeros on Friday at 7:00 p.m. and against the Milwaukee Admirals on Saturday at 7:00 p.m.

Pardy has appeared in a total of 17 games with the Ak-Sar-Ben Knights during five different stints this season. He is still looking for his first AHL point. He has 12 penalty minutes in that time. In 41 games with the Wranglers, the native of Bonavista, Newfoundland has one goal and eleven assists for twelve points and 55 penalty minutes.

Pardy completed his junior career in 2004-05 with the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles of the QMJHL. He set career highs for games played (69), goals (12), assists (27), points (39) and penalty minutes (163). Pardy was the Flames sixth pick, 173rd overall, in the 2004 Entry Draft.

Friday's game against Houston is also Ladies Night. Ladies receive free admission with the purchase of a paid ticket. The Knights will be holding a silent auction at the game for dinner with Knights' players Ajay Baines and Dave Moss at Dave and Buster's at 132nd Street and West Center Road in Omaha. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights Charitable Foundation.

Tickets for all home games are available at the Civic Auditorium box office, Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The box office is open through the opening face-off on game nights.
