Lexington Legends News Release
LEXINGTON, Ky. â Lexington passed another historic attendance mark Friday night when Prentice Hollon of Winchester was honored as the 1,000,000th fan to attend a Legends game at Applebee's Park. Lexington passed the mark in its 163rd game played at the two-year old facility.
Mr. Hollon said that being the 1,000,000 fans was an "awesome feeling". He wins season tickets for the rest of the year, a luxury suite for the night, a cap and a customized Legends jersey. Prentice won't go hungry either. He receives coupons for free food from Applebee's, Damon's and Fazoli's. Prentice also receives a free car wash from Clean Sweep Car Wash.
"We are thrilled and excited to welcome Prentice as the 1,000,000th fan to Applebee's Park. We have always been dedicated to offering quality customer service and the fact that we are passing this historic milestone early in our third season is humbling", said Alan Stein, President and CEO of the Lexington Legends. "The support that we have enjoyed from fans like Prentice illustrates how Lexington and the surrounding communities have embraced this project", Stein added.
The 1,000,000th fan will be just one of many milestones this season. On June 24th, the Legends will host the 2003 SAL All-Star game in its centennial season. Tickets are available for the midsummer classic at the Applebee's Park Box Office. Call 859-422-RUNS (7867) for more information.
