Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium Gearing Up to Host Music Legend

(Kannapolis, NC) – The Charlie Daniels Band, with special guest BR549, is performing at Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium on May 21st to help the Intimidators celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the South Atlantic League.

"This is the first event of its kind ever at Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium" said Tim Mueller, General Manager of the Kannapolis Intimidators "We're looking forward to the Charlie Daniels Band and BR549 providing our fans with the very best in music entertainment as we celebrate the 100th Anniversary of our league."

Demand for the special concert has been exceptional and only a limited number of tickets remain for this once in a lifetime event. To order tickets or for more information stop by the Intimidators Box Office at Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium or call the Intimidators at 704-932-3267.

On the Field seats are just $20 and General Admission seats are $15. Seating is first come, first served, so fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets in advance.

Gates for the concert will open at 5:30pm with BR549 to begin performing at approximately 7:00pm.

The Charlie Daniels Band and BR549 are a part of the Country Grand Slam, a family oriented, 12-date Country Music Tour celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the League of Choice, The South Atlantic League.

The Intimidators will be in on the road during the concert as part of a 5-game road trip and return to Kannapolis on Memorial Day, May 26th hosting the Lexington Legends at Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium beginning at 7:05pm on Military Appreciation Day.
