Harrisburg Senators News Release

The Senators won their third straight game, 10-1, over the Bowie Baysox Friday night at FNB Field. Wilson Garcia homered for the fourth time in his last five games this time a three-run home run in the eighth inning. Luis Reyes was sensational for the Senators tossing six one-hit frames for the Sens to earn his first win with the Senators.

Reyes retired the side in order four times in six innings and finished his outing by retiring the final seven batters he faced. The only hit he allowed was a single with one out in the third. Brian Gonzalez pitched a scoreless seventh inning. Albert Guerrero tossed the final two frames allowing a home run for the Baysox only run.

Garcia and Alfredo Rodriguez both had two hits in the game. Rodriguez drove in three with two doubles. Garcia scored twice and had a single along with his three-run home run. KJ Harrison doubled and drove in a run.

The Sens ran their win streak to three games. The first time since they won six straight in April. Harrisburg went 4-for-15 with runners in scoring position. Bowie hit five Senators batters which equals a franchise record for the Senators being hit by pitches.
