
Willmar Gets past Huskies

Duluth Huskies News Release
The Duluth Huskies (15-11) fall to the Willmar Stingers 5-1.
The Huskies kept it a close game through the first 4 innings but couldn't contain the Stingers. The Stingers scored 4 runs in the 5th inning with an error, wild pitch, single, and passed ball. The Huskies tried to keep the game close with scoring one in the 7th inning but couldn't get any more off the Stingers pitchers.
Dominic Miroglio was the top player who went 4-4. Figueroa, McLaughlin, Heck, and Lee all had a hit as well. Toby Anderson pitched 5 complete innings while only giving up 1 earned run. Mitch Bauer came in relief and only gave up one run in 4 innings of pitching.
The Huskies will be back at Wade on Monday the 22nd to finish their two-game series against the Willmar Stingers.
