Wausau, WIS- Athletic Park, home of the Wisconsin Woodchucks, is in the final round of voting in the Ballpark Digest's Best of the Ballparks: Summer Collegiate Competition.

Athletic Park was one of 32 summer collegiate ballparks selected for the competition by Ballpark Digest and has made it through 4 rounds of voting, beating Vince Genna Stadium, Holman Stadium, Old Mountain Field and Cardines Field to make it to the finals. In the final round Athletic Park is pitted against Kokomo Municipal Stadium, home of the Kokomo Jackrabbits.

To submit your vote for Athletic Park visit ballparkdigest.com and click on the link for Best of the Ballparks: Summer Collegiate Finals. Voting will run until 10:00 p.m. Monday, June 22. The winner of the Best of Ballparks: Summer Collegiate competition will be announced on Wednesday, June 24.

To see the WISCONSIN WOODCHUCKS in action and experience what makes Athletic Park a finalist come to Monday's doubleheader against the Madison Mallards. Game one starts at 5:05 p.m. Tickets for all of the Woodchucks home games can be purchased online, at woodchucks.com, by calling the Front Office at 715.845.5055, or by stopping by the Front Office (300 3rd. St. Suite 305, Wausau WI54403) anytime between 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday - Friday. The box office at Athletic Park (324 E. Wausau Ave, Wausau WI 54403) opens at 1:30 p.m. on game days.
