The Grizzlies tacked on a run in the fourth on another RBI single from Gillespie.

Tucson scored two runs in the sixth on Rene Rivera's bases-loaded walk and Mike Wilson's RBI single to cut Fresno's lead to one. Kalian Sams evened the score at 4-4 in the seventh by hitting into fielder's choice allowing Dean Anna to come across for the tying run.
