Express Players to Participate in Celebrity Bowling Event

ROUND ROCK, Texas - The Mike Coolbaugh Diamond Dreams Foundation has announced plans for their first celebrity bowling event in Central Texas at Mel's Lone Star Lanes on Wednesday, June 26. Registration for the all-ages event is available online at DiamondDreams.org.
The event gives fans the opportunity to bowl with their favorite Round Rock Express players and coaches while supporting a cause with ties to the Round Rock community. The Diamond Dreams Foundation is a non-profit organization that honors the memory of Mike Coolbaugh, former Express infielder, by promoting safety in the game of baseball and providing support to members of the baseball community in need.
Fans can register as an individual bowler ($125) or as a team of four ($400). A build-your-own-burger bar buffet and soft drinks are included in the price of registration. The burger bar features hamburgers and chicken breast sandwiches with a wide variety of toppings and fixings so bowlers can personalize their sandwich. There will be a cash bar for bowlers of-age.
Registration starts at 6:30 p.m. with the bowling kicking off at 7. Bowlers will get to enjoy two hours of bowling and the chance to mingle with their favorite Express players. The first game played will count towards the night's awards. The four award categories are: highest overall score (team and individual), most "strikeouts" (gutterballs) by an individual bowler, most "home runs" (strikes) by an individual bowler and best team spirit.
The event will also feature a silent auction with one-of-a-kind items, including autographed memorabilia and VIP experiences.
Individual bowlers will be placed on teams at random and are not guaranteed specific teammates, but will be guaranteed to bowl with an Express player or coach.
