Wildcats on Road for Next Three

The Moncton Wildcats head to the province of Quebec for a three game in four day stretch. The Cats open up their road trip tonight against the league's last place team, the Baie-Comeau Drakkar. Game time is 8:30 AST at the Centre Henry Leonard. Catch all the action with Jeff Robichaud on news 91.9 or www.news919.com, pre-game show starts at 8:00AST. The Wildcats have taken both games between these two teams so far this season. They won by a score of 7-5 in Baie-Comeau on September 24th and won 6-3 at the Coliseum on October 2nd.

Following tonight's game the Cats will travel to Chicoutimi for a contest with the Sagueneens Saturday at 5:00AST. The Sags hold a record of 4-6-2-2 in 14 games this season including a 5-4 shootout defeat to the Wildcats on September 25th. Sunday, the Wildcats face the number one team in Canada, the Quebec Remparts at the Colisee Pepsi, puck drop is 4:00AST. In 12 games this season Quebec has yet to lose in regulation and hold a record of 11-0-0-1 to lead the league. In their lone meeting against the Remparts this season, the Wildcats held a one goal lead in the last minute of play but could not hold on and eventually lost in a shootout.

The Wildcats are back at home next Friday October 29th at 7:30 when the Halifax Mooseheads make their first trip to the Coliseum. The Acadie-Bathurst Titan make a trip to the Coliseum Saturday October 30th, puck drop for that one is set for 7:00.
