MONTREAL, Thursday, October 21, 2010 - The Board of Governor today unanimously voted to keep the position of First Vice-President vacant for the balance of the 2010-11 season.
"The Executive Committee is proud that the Board of Governors has proposed to leave the position left vacant by the passing of Gervais Munger to honour his memory," said Jean Brousseau, the President of the Board of Governors. "Gervais was a member of the Executive Committee for several years and an instrumental part of the League and this initiative certainly shows the level of respect that the Governors had for him."
