
Wildcats drop 5-4 decision to Lewiston

Moncton Wildcats News Release
The Moncton Wildcats never recovered from a 2-0 Lewiston lead at the end of the first period and ended up on the wrong side of a 5-4 MAINEiacs victory.
It was 3-1 for Lewiston at the end of the second and despite an all out effort in the final minute the Cats failed to tie the score.
Tanguy, Lacasse, Henley, Chaput and Morin scored for Lewiston. Nicolas Deschamps had a hat trick for the Wildcats with Randy Cameron getting the other Moncton goal.
Shots on goal were 40-34 for the Cats. Moncton now moves on to play Shawinigan on Friday night, game time on News 91.9 is 8:30.
