Saturday's contest between the two first place teams in the Frontier League (Washington Leads the East and Rockford Leads the West) was delayed nearly two hours due to inclement weather at Falconi Field Saturday. The game got underway around 9:00 p.m.

Rockford's Aaron McEachran scored and unearned run in the fifth inning. Then in the sixth inning the Riverhawks scored two more to take the lead when Nick Johnson singled to center field, driving in Jeremy Busch, and McEachran doubled down the right field line to score Olmo Rasario. Rockford led 3-2.

Washington answered in the bottom of the sixth when David Reaver doubled down the left field line, driving in Chris Sidick, tying the game at 3.

Then in the bottom of the seventh Washington scored three unearned runs (Carter, Koenig, and Morgan).

In the eighth inning T.J. Graves drove in Reaver and then scored on an error. Robert Morgan also scored an unearned run.

Reliever Stephen Spragg (4-0) got the win, pitching three innings, allowing two runs on three hits and striking out five. Jim Popp earned his 14th save with one inning of work.
