VANCOUVER, BC ¬" There's no place like home.

It will be the 'Caps first match at the recently built Lower.com Field. The remainder of the 2022 MLS regular season will be announced in the coming weeks.
"For us, today is the first day of the 2022 season and with our great run after returning home this year, we are excited to now prepare for a new season that will allow us to play right from the beginning in front of our fans at BC Place," said Axel Schuster, Whitecaps FC sporting director. "We are looking forward to our home opener and to sing together with our fans 'Stand By Me' after the game."
The 'Caps ended the 2021 MLS regular season in front of 25,117 fans at BC Place, securing a spot in the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs for the first time since 2017. In their nine home matches in Vancouver, the Blue & White played to a league best home winning percentage of .830 with a record of 7W-1L-1D.
