Whitecaps FC Confirm Top Collegiate Recruiting Class

VANCOUVER, BC - Vancouver Whitecaps FC confirmed one of the top collegiate recruiting classes in North America on Wednesday as members of the Girls Elite REX program, in partnership with BC Soccer, announced their commitments during Signing Day.
All 10 players are part of the Whitecaps FC BMO Academy System. Two more players from the REX program will announce their commitment in the coming months.
"Without a doubt, this is one of the best recruiting classes from any club in North America," noted Ryan Clark, Whitecaps FC manager of collegiate transition & identification events. "This Class of 2021 furthers our reputation as a quality builder of youth soccer talent for some of the top collegiate soccer programs. These players will be playing in the best conferences, matching up against some of the best young national team players from countries around the world."

Hannah Duguid (Calgary, AB) - Univ. of Colorado Buffaloes
Ella Gagno (Langley, BC) - Quinnipiac Univ. Bobcats
Syah Mangat (Surrey, BC) - Univ. of Michigan Wolverines
Isabella Muzzolini (Maple Ridge, BC) - Univ. of Georgia Bulldogs
Mia Pante (North Vancouver, BC) - Texas A&M Univ. Aggies
Daniela Ramirez (Surrey, BC) - UNLV Runnin' Rebels
Maya Rogers (Vancouver, BC) - Univ. of Miami Hurricanes
Aislin Streicek (West Vancouver, BC) - Univ. of Alabama Crimson Tide
Mikayla Tupper (Langley, BC) - Univ. of Miami Hurricanes
Holly Ward (North Vancouver, BC) - Univ. of Texas Longhorns
POWER 5 CONFERENCES CHOOSE WHITECAPS FC
For the first time in club history, and a rarity for any club, the Whitecaps FC Class of 2021 will see a player signed to each of the major Power 5 conferences in the NCAA, including the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), Big Ten, Big 12, Pacific-12 (Pac-12), and Southeastern Conference (SEC).
STAYING TOGETHER
Both Maya Rogers and Mikayla Tupper are headed to play for the University of Miami Hurricanes in the ACC, facing the likes of Duke, Florida State, North Carolina, and Notre Dame.
Closer to Vancouver, Daniela Ramirez joins former 'Caps teammate Sophia Seibel at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas Runnin' Rebels.
RIVALS
Rogers and Tupper won't be the only ones reunited. Mia Pante will join former Whitecaps FC teammate Andersen Williams at the Texas A&M Aggies, and Holly Ward goes to the University of Texas to play with 'Caps alumni Teni Akindoju, Julia Grosso, and Emma Regan.
Pante will also be facing off against Isabella Muzzollini (University of Georgia Bulldogs) and Aislin Streicek (University of Alabama Crimson Tide) in the SEC.
