Club de Foot Montreal News Release
MONTREAL - The Montreal Impact announced on Wednesday that centre-back Luis Binks, transferred to Bologna FC 1909 on August 13, will remain with Montreal on loan until December 31, 2021.
"Despite his young age and his little experience at the professional level, Luis played an excellent first season with us, which got him a transfer to Bologna," said Montreal Impact sporting director Olivier Renard. "He showed what he can bring to this group and we are happy to know he will keep progressing in our club for another year."
Binks joined the Impact on February 18, 2020, after being acquired from Tottenham Hotspur FC, in England. In his first year with the Impact, he started 20 of the 21 games he played during the MLS regular season, with 1,762 minutes of play. He also took part in two of the three Concacaf Champions League games, for a total of 180 minutes of play.
Transaction: Defender Luis Binks is loaned from Bologna FC 1909 to the Impact until December 31, 2021.
