
Whitecaps FC and Midfielder Bernie Ibini Mutually Agree to Part Ways

VANCOUVER, BC - Vancouver Whitecaps FC announced on Wednesday that the club and midfielder Bernie Ibini have mutually agreed to a contract termination, allowing the 25-year-old Australian international to sign with UAE Pro League side Emirates Club.
"Bernie has been a solid professional during his time at the club and we are thankful for his contributions," said Whitecaps FC head coach Carl Robinson. "Bernie is a fantastic competitor and we wish him all the best with Emirates Club."
Ibini joined Whitecaps FC in May 2017 from Belgian Pro League side Club Brugge KV and made 26 appearances for Vancouver, scoring one goal and adding three assists across all competitions.
