The Kelowna Rockets defeated the Moose Jaw Warriors 1-0 on Wednesday night at Mosaic Place in Moose Jaw, winning its second straight and now three of four on its six game road trip.
Jackson Whistle turned aside 27 shots to earn the shutout as the Rockets improved to 25-7-1-0 on the season, first place overall in the WHL.
Dillon Dube scored the lone goal of the game, putting home his 14th of the season on a second period power play. The Rockets were 1-for-1 with the man advantage while holding the Warriors to 0-for-3.
Moose Jaw outshot Kelowna 27-23 in the game.
Kelowna is back in action this weekend with back-to-back games to close out its pre-Christmas schedule, playing in Prince Albert on Friday and Saskatoon on Saturday.
The Rockets return to action with a home and home series with the Kamloops Blazers, including Dec. 28 at Prospera Place.
