Wheeling, WV - The Wheeling Nailers, the proud AA affiliate of the Pittsburgh Penguins, announced their schedule for the upcoming 2010-2011 season. The 19th exciting season of professional hockey in the Friendly City commences on Friday, October 15th when the Nailers play host to the Toledo Walleye.

Wheeling Nailers Vice President Craig Bommer was pleased with the end result. "The schedule lays out in very fan friendly way with no 3 in 3 weekends at home," Bommer said. "The schedule should allow for more fans to attend great Nailers action."

The Nailers will see the Reading Royals the most this year playing their rivals to the east a total of 12 times. They will take on the defending Kelly Cup Champion Cincinnati Cyclones 11 times and will also see the Trenton Devils for 11 encounters as well.
