
WFGX TV To Televise ECHL All Star Game Live

Pensacola, FL - The Pensacola Ice Pilots are proud to announce that WFGX TV will televise live the Coors Light ECHL All-Star game to be played in Reading, Pennsylvania on Wednesday, January 26th at 6:00 p.m. central time.
"This is a another first in Ice Pilots history. We want to thank WEAR and WFGX in stepping up to the plate with us and sharing our commitment to the fans by broadcasting the All-Star game live", said Ice Pilots Vice President of Business Operations Bob Maynard.
Fans will be able to watch Ice Pilots head coach Dave Farrish, defenseman Corey Neilson, goalie Todd Ford and equipment manager John Krouse represent the organization for the American Conference in the game. Fans will be able to watch the game on channel 20 with Cox Cable in Pensacola and channel 12 on Cox Cable in Niceville, Ft. Walton Beech and Crestview. Fans will also be able to watch the game on channel 6 on Mediacom in Gulf Breeze and Milton and channel 22 on mediacom in Baker, Florida. Also, the game will be on channel 22 with Valparaiso cable. WFGX TV is the sister station of WEAR TV 3 ABC. The Ice Pilots will play at Idaho tonight at 8:05 p.m. central time. Fans can listen to the Ice Pilots game tonight beginning at 7:50 p.m. central time on flagship radio station AM 1620, Cox Communications channel 2, www.icepilots.com sponsored by Sports Avenue and as a pay per view webcast at www.icepilots.com in conjunction with B2 Networks for $6. The Ice Pilots next home games are Friday, January 28th and Saturday, January 29th vs. Augusta at 7:05 p.m. The Ice Pilots are also home on Sunday, January 30th vs. Pee Dee at 5:05 p.m. Friday night's game is Mardi Gras Night. The Ice Pilots will wear their Mardi Gras Jerseys sponsored by Hill Kelly Dodge and they will be auctioned after the game. A Mardi Gras Parade on ice will take place during the intermissions.
Saturday, January 29th is NA SCAR Night. Fans who wear NASCAR apparel to the game will receive $2 off a game day ticket. The #9 Kasey Kahne NASCAR will be on display in front of the Civic Center. Miss U.S.A. sponsored by WEAR TV 3 will be at the game dropping the ceremonial puck and signing autographs.
Friday and Saturday night games are also Florida Lottery Second Chance Night. The first 100 lottery vouchers have already been sold and none are left for the game on Friday, January 28th and there are only a limited number of vouchers left for the Florida Lottery Second Chance Night on Saturday, January 29th. 100 ticket vouchers for the game only are available to fans who bring $5 worth of non winning Florida Lottery tickets to the civic center box office. $5 worth of non winning Florida Lottery tickets gets you one ticket to the game.
Sunday, January 30th vs. Pee Dee is Family Day. A family of four can purchase 4 tickets, 4 hot dogs and 4 sodas for $44. After the game for Kids Club Members only there will be an autograph session with the team and a post game skate for the kids.
Fans can purchase individual Ice Pilots home game tickets in person at the Civic Center box office, at any Ticketmaster location, Charge by Phone at 434-7444 or through www.icepilots.com. For group tickets, season tickets and birthday parties, fans can call the Ice Pilots at 432-PUCK.
