
Westchester Knicks to Open 2016-17 Season at Westchester County

WHITE PLAINS, NY - The Westchester Knicks, the official NBA Development League affiliate of the New York Knickerbockers, will tip-off its third season at the historic Westchester County Center in White Plains, NY on Saturday, Nov. 19 at 5:00 p.m., facing the Greensboro Swarm, the Charlotte Hornets' new affiliate.
The game will include an exciting slate of in-game performances beginning with a special presentation of the National Anthem by Cheyenne Elliott, granddaughter of the legendary Dionne Warwick and cousin of the late superstar Whitney Houston. A native of Westchester County, Cheyenne is thrilled to be performing for her hometown team.
Game entertainment also includes a halftime performance from the Air Elite Dunkers, the official Dunk Team for the New York Knickerbockers, and a brand-new routine from the Westchester Knicks Dancers. Additionally, the first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a 2016-17 Schedule Magnet, courtesy of Red Oak Transportation.
All home and away games this season will be broadcast on MSG Networks and streamed in real-time on Facebook Live.
