BayHawks Drop First Road Game to Blue

Oklahoma City, OK- The Erie BayHawks fell to the Oklahoma City Blue 87-93 in the first road game of the season tonight.

The BayHawks were plagued by foul trouble throughout the game with 29 fouls called against the team. Despite a one-point lead at half, Erie was outscored by 11 in the third to give Oklahoma City a 10-point lead headed into the fourth. After falling behind by as many as 16, Erie cut Oklahoma City's lead to as few as three in the fourth quarter but couldn't complete the comeback.

The BayHawks were led by 25 points, five assists, and three rebounds from Anthony Brown. Branden Dawson added 24 points on 11-of-23 shooting to go with seven rebounds, three steals, three blocked shots, and three assists. TJ Price hit three, three-pointers while scoring 18 points and posting six rebounds, five assists, and five steals.

The Blue had two players post double-doubles while Dakari Johnson had a game-high 26 points. Chris Wright grabbed 10 rebounds and 12 points. Reggie Williams had a double-double of 11 rebounds and 15 points.
