Westchester Knicks Acquire Maverick Rowan

WHITE PLAINS, NY - The Westchester Knicks, the official NBA G League affiliate of the New York Knicks, announced today that the team has acquired Maverick Rowan.

With John Jenkins competing with the USA World Cup Qualifying Team until early December, the Knicks will utilize Rowan under roster exemption.

Rowan, spent the 2017-18 season with the Lakeland Magic, averaging 5.3 points and 1.9 rebounds in 13.3 minutes. A native of Fort Lauderdale, FL the 6'7, 220-pound forward played two collegiate seasons at North Carolina State University, where he averaged 12.5 points and 3.3 rebounds in 31.9 minutes.

On September 15, 2018, Lakeland traded Rowan's returning rights and its own 2018 3rd round draft pick (#16) to the Agua Caliente Clippers in exchange for the Agua Caliente Clippers' 2018 1st round draft pick (#24).

The Knicks continue their five-game homestand tonight, against the Wisconsin Herd. The action starts at 7 PM.
