Westchester Knicks Acquire Darnell Jackson

WHITE PLAINS, October 31, 2014 - The Westchester Knicks, the official NBA Development League affiliate of the New York Knickerbockers, announced today that the team has acquired forward Darnell Jackson and the 2014 sixth round pick in the NBA D-League Draft from the Reno Bighorns in exchange for Stefhon Hannah and the Knicks' 2014 first round draft pick.

Jackson, 6-9, 253-pounds, has seen action in 138 NBA games with the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Milwaukee Bucks, and the Sacramento Kings. In 23 games with the D-League, Jackson averaged 16 points per game. The Oklahoma native did not start playing basketball until ninth grade.

Hannah, 6-1, 175-pounds, was selected by the Westchester Knicks in the 2014 NBA Development League Expansion Draft. The Chicago, Illinois native averaged 12.9 points over 119 games in the NBA D-League.
