Bighorns Acquire Two-Time D-League Defensive Player of the Year

RENO, NEV., Oct. 31, 2014- In preparation for the tomorrow's 2014 NBA D-League Draft, the Reno Bighorns have traded Darnell Jackson and their original 2014 sixth Round Pick to the Westchester Knicks for Stefhon Hannah and the Knicks original 2014 first Round Pick.
Hannah was named NBA D-League Defensive Player of the Year in 2012 and 2013.
Hannah has played in a total of 119 games in the D-League, most recently with the Santa Cruz Warriors. During the 2012-13 season, he averaged 7.0 points per game and 6.0 assists per game.
The Bighorns have also agreed to trade the Returning Player Rights for� Ralph Sampson III to the Maine Red Claws. The Bighorns will receive the Maine Red Claws 2014 fourth round draft pick, originally owned by the Erie Bayhawks.
