MOOSIC, Pa. - The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders game against the Rochester Red Wings scheduled for Thursday has been postponed due to unplayable grounds following a driving rain and hail storm that blew through the area as first pitch approached.

The RailRiders returned home after a five-game roadtrip to Pawtucket and Syracuse with the hopes of starting a seven-game homestand, but those hopes have been delayed 23 hours until Friday night.

The new scheduled first pitch is set for 5:30 p.m. Friday between the RailRiders and Red Wings. For SWB, LHP Justus Sheffield (0-1, 3.86) is expected to toss Game One against RHP Zack Littell (1-0, 0.00), while LHP Josh Rogers (2-3, 3.15) will take the ball in Game Two opposed by LHP Stephen Gonsalves (2-0, 0.63).
